I created this piece with the idea of abandonment. What would be the physical representation of abandonment in this world? Would the mind manifest as a boarded up old house? Locking away it’s contents from the world?
The book Hard-Boiled Wonderland at the End of the World by Haruki Murakami has had me thinking of the mind lately. The mind has many layers and secret passageways. Twists and turns. Our lives and experiences build these passages and pathways and shape who we are. They create the foundation.
